The Tony Meduri TBI Fund Inc. is excited to announce that UF Health Jacksonville will NOW BE the HOST OF THE Annual Tony’s Turkey Trot to expand brain injury awareness and brain injury care.
Home to Northeast Florida’s only adult and pediatric Level I trauma center, UF Health TraumaOne, UF Health has a long history of treating patients who experience traumatic brain injuries, or TBIs. TBIs are most commonly caused by falls, motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, sports-related injuries and assaults. UF Health physicians, nurses, therapists and other health care providers are dedicated to providing cutting-edge care.
By participating in the 7th Annual Tony’s Turkey Trot, you advance lifesaving care during the early critical stages of the injury and support the holistic care of TBI survivors in our community.
Volunteer Information
Volunteers are needed for the following areas during the event:
All Volunteers must sign online waiver and wear mask (provided)
Course CHEER and Safety Squad: most important! Minimum age: 16
Race Packet Pick-Up: Pre-Race event and Race Day
Water Station, Medals, Set-up and Clean-up
Greeter, Parking Attendant, and other tasks
Students can earn hours!
